At UV Performing Arts, the health and safety of our students and families is our top priority. We continue to offer a virtual dance classes and event during these ever-changing circumstances. As schools open, extensive health and safety measures are being taken with new studio guidelines to provide all of our students with safe class experience. We are strictly following the CDC’s recommendations and adjusting operations to keep you and our team members safe and healthy.
King County moved into Phase 2 and dance studio can operate in a limited capacity with 6 ft apart between people. Since August 10, new guidelines is in a limited capacity with 17 ft apart. Please understand that our schedule will be adjusted often for the safety following King County’s requirement and CDC’s recommendations.
When booking in-person dance classes, student will be required to affirm at time of booking, that you are in good health and have not been in contact with anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 as detailed by the CDC. We also ask you to complete a Pre-Attendance Questionnaire and to agree Studio Policy and Terms and Conditions to acknowledge your participation in-person is welcomed as long as you are healthy and observing our new studio policies and social distancing protocols.
Our studio will reduce class sizes to guarantee a minimum of 17 feet of personal distance between members during class. Everyone inside the building is required to wear masks at all times.
For your safety, our teachers will coach you on your form using verbal cues and demonstration, instead of using any hands on corrections.
To ensure your safety, we will be limiting our equipment and staging it for you. Sanitized ballet barre and hand weights will be set up at your designated station to be used in class, and should be left in place for teacher to collect and sanitize after class. Please leave your personal equipment at home. Yoga mats, towels and water bottles are permitted.
Classes will be spaced at a minimum of 30 minutes apart to allow for UV Performing Arts to sanitize studio and equipment.
